The XXXV Jubilee Meeting of Young Musicians have gathered nearly 600 participating groups including, for the first time, the representation of India. With great pleasure did the jury receive the return of the initiative of a parade of all the participants of Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions through the streets of the city. The variety of cultures and groups including music, dance and folklore assembles accounted for the unique attractiveness for the great audience taking part in the concerts. The city upon Brda has become a place of meeting for young artists presenting their artistic output not only to the public but also to each other.
The Jubilee XXXV BIM has been prepared by the Youth Centre “Pałac Młodzieży” in Bydgoszcz perfectly as usual in every respect. The Jury would like to express their great appreciation to he manager Ms Joanna Busz and her associates.
We would also like to thank the authorities of Bydgoszcz and the inimitable audience.
35 years in the history of a nation is only a while however for an institution like the Youth Centre “Pałac Młodzieży” it has been the time preserved through great effort and beautiful engagement in favour of the promotion of national culture.
