of the sitting of the artistic council of the XXXIV BYDGOSZCZ MUSICAL IMPRESSIONS
Bydgoszcz, 7th July, 2011
The artistic council consisting of:
Adrianna Poniecka-Piekutowska – chairlady of the European Krzysztof Penderecki Music Centre,
Józef Eliasz – ELJAZZ Jazz Association,
Marek Piotrowski - International Council of Organizations for Folklore Festivals and Folk Art - CIOFF,
Janusz Stanecki – Music Academy in Bydgoszcz
after hearing of the 17 participating bands from 12 countries have decided to award the following SPECIAL PRIZES:

- The artistic council has also awarded an INDIVIDUAL PRIZE – “the Revelation of XXXIV Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions” which goes to the soloist of the mandolin orchestra SKOPJE from Macedonia – LAZAR SANDEV (who played a-moll concert of Jan Sebastian Bach).
The artistic council have decided to award the following MAIN PRIZES:

Chamber music choir BREVIS from Russia – manager Victoria Tyunyaeva, conductor Inga Shvets.
The artistic council would like to express their deep acknowledgments for the headmaster of the Youth Centre “Pałac Młodzieży” and all the associates, who put so much effort to prepare this wonderful international meeting of young musicians. Those young artists participating in the XXXIV Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions had the chance to present the highest level of artistry in the available conditions. Wit their presence at all the hearings and concerts, Bydgoszcz habitants explicitly confirm the pertinence of this great artistic event.
